Independent AI commerce measurement

Reconcile AI
commerce claims
to real orders.

AI is changing how people shop. Can your measurement explain what happened?

We’re exploring how permissioned agent events and merchant records can reveal what your existing reports miss—and where the evidence stops.

A linked order is evidence of a journey.
It is not proof that AI caused the purchase.

Researching with

01 / The approach

Follow the evidence.
Keep the gaps visible.

An independent view starts by comparing claims with records you can actually inspect.

The pilot proposes a focused, manual audit of a real attribution question. We compare authorized agent-side events with merchant orders and existing reports, then document the matches, discrepancies, and missing evidence.

Merchant data alone cannot reveal an outside agent’s unseen recommendations. Access and permissions come first.

02 / What the evidence can say

Three different questions.
Three different standards.

01

What did we observe?

Trace an authorized event to a session or order. Show the source, the link, and its limits.

Recorded journeys
02

What can we estimate?

Where a match is probabilistic, label it as modeled and explain the assumptions and uncertainty.

Modeled associations
03

What changed because of AI?

Incremental lift needs a separate, valid experiment. Attribution credit cannot answer this on its own.

Causal measurement

03 / The measurement pilot

One real question.
A useful next decision.

An exploratory research pilot, followed by a scoped audit if the data and use case fit.

  1. 01

    Bring a disputed journey

Tell us where AI commerce reporting disagrees with your existing stack—and which decision depends on it.

  2. 02

    Confirm access and permissions

Identify an authorized sample of upstream agent events and merchant records. Agree on scope before sharing data.

  3. 03

    Compare the evidence

Review an auditable discrepancy ledger against your current reporting, with duplicates, refunds, and coverage limits made explicit.

A few practical details

Before we talk.

Who is this for?

Merchants, ecommerce measurement teams, agencies, affiliate networks, and agent platforms with a specific attribution question and a potential source of authorized data.

Is this a finished analytics product?

No. This is an independent research initiative testing whether permissioned evidence can add useful information beyond existing reports. The initial offer is a proposed manual audit, not a live dashboard or a guaranteed integration.

Do I need to send customer data to join?

No. Start with a conversation. Please do not include customer records, credentials, or sensitive data in the booking notes. Any later data access needs an agreed scope and appropriate permissions.

What does the pilot cost?

The introductory research conversation is free. If there is a fit for a paid audit, we’ll agree on a fixed scope and fee before work begins. Booking a call creates no purchase commitment.
